Jealous Of The Bird and Kaz Hawkins’ performances for Van Morrison’s 75th birthday celebration are going live tonight.

Following stunning performances on ‘Rave On, Van Morrison’ last night, we’re capping off the weekend with more back-to-back performances – with Jealous Of The Birds performing ‘Saint Dominic’s Preview’, following by Kaz Hawkins performing ‘Full Force Gale’.

Over the course of the YouTube event, celebrating Van Morrison’s 75th birthday, you can expect even more renditions of his remarkable songs from some of the most iconic names in the country.

Hotly-tipped songwriter Naomi Hamilton, aka Jealous Of The Birds, released her stunning debut album Parma Violets in 2016, matching introspective indie-folk with fiery post-punk. A string of powerful singles followed in the coming years, including her latest single, ‘Young Neanderthal’, released earlier this year. Her highly anticipated new album Peninsula is out on September 18.

Belfast-born singer-songwriter Kaz Hawkins has crafted a unique soul and blues-influenced sound over the course of her career – wowing audiences around the world with her deeply emotional, honest performances.

Jealous Of The Birds’ performance of ‘Saint Dominic’s Preview’ (7pm Irish Standard Time) and Kaz Hawkins’ performances of ‘Full Force Gale’ (8pm) premiere tonight, September 6, on the Hot Press YouTube channel.
