Will Durst is a San Francisco comic in the spirit of Mort Sahl and Lenny Bruce, mining political humor from the headlines but remaining embedded in the Bay Area.
Durst has been performing at local comedy clubs since the 1980s and along with his wife, Debi, co-owned the legendary Holy City Zoo comedy club (they still have the sign). Still at it, the comic is slated to headline the Punch Line in San Francisco for four days through Saturday, April 15.
Few people know the room better than Durst or come to the club with a shorter commute. Expect acerbic wit, social satire, absolutely no tolerance for hecklers and plenty of humor from the breaking news of the day.
